As many of you are aware, the Medical Council moved premises from Lynn House to Kingram House in June and I am grateful to John Lamont, CEO, and the members of his team....

Some delays have been experienced in transferring medical practitioners  from the General Division to the Trainee Specialist Division arising from a new system implemented by the Medical Council and the Health Service Executive.

As part of the preparatory work in developing professional competence schemes, the Council is piloting a multi-source feedback study (360°) involving hospital-based consultants.

Monday the 15th of June 2009 was an exciting day for the Medical Council when we took up residency in our new premises in Kingram House, Kingram Place Dublin 2.

The Medical Council is keen to recruit suitable individuals to assist in its work of ensuring the quality of medical education and training, and wants to assemble teams from a variety of backgrounds.
